Centrifugal Operator
Shift: 3rd
Set-up Die or die holder as required on foundry routing. Set centrifugal cast machine to proper R.P.M. and required amount of sprinklers. Choose proper ladle, clean and patch as required. Heat die to proper spray temperature and maintain temperature. Mix and maintain die coating. Prepare metal test samples for the lab technician. Measure and record casting information including cast information, heat and job numbers. Pour test material. Transfer metal to die or holding furnace. Use all ventilation equipment correctly. Train new employees.Qualifications:
2 years Melt and/or casting experience preferred.
Must be able to follow written and verbal procedures.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
