Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to expand the quality culture within the company through ensuring that all systems are in place and implemented to produce products to meet or exceed commercial standards or specific customer standards. Position responsibilities will include: • Oversee Non-Destructive Testing, RT (Radiography) – Level II Required, PT (Penetrant Testing) – Level II Required, MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) – Level II Required and VT (Visual Inspection) - Level II Required. Candidate should be able to achieve Level III within 6 months. • Oversee Welding Certification and Procedures. • Assist in developing and maintaining Quality Systems.Qualifications:
Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with demonstrated problem solving and leadership abilities. We are seeking an energetic person with a Bachelors degree. Must have experience with ISO 9001-2008 or other quality system. Experience with AS9100, NADCAP and Six Sigma preferred. Foundry or Job Shop experience is a plus. Must have three or more years of Quality System experience. The candidate should be experienced in working independently, and as a member of a team, to meet deadlines and improve the department. Basic computer skills are required.
