Bearium On Shuttle Crawler
Early designs of Space Shuttle Crawler bushings experienced sudden catastrophic roller bearing failures, threatening mission timing. The installation of MetalTek's proprietary Bearium B-10 product on sleeve bearings has prevented the failures experienced in early crawler designs, and are used to this day on the Space Shuttle system.
