Alloy Grade UNS: C95900 – Excellent Wear Properties

  • Overview

This alloy is frequently specified for applications that require excellent wear properties because of its increased aluminum and iron content. This alloy has excellent wear and anti-galling properties when used in forming, bending and drawing dies, particularly in working stainless steel. It is also a successful replacement for hardened steel in special applications.

  • Typical Uses

A good material for forming rolls, draw dies, die inserts, and rings. Also used for bushings and machine tool parts.
