Alloy Grade UNS: C95520 – Highly Flexible Alloys

  • Overview

C955220, or also known as AMS 4881, is a highly flexible alloy. High-strength alloys in many cases have the strength of steel plus superior corrosion resistance. These highly flexible alloys yield outstanding wear and galling resistance. This alloy contains 11% aluminum, 5.1% nickel, and 4.7% iron and has a range of applications including bearings, bushings, fittings, and gears.

  • Typical Uses

Aircraft bearings, bushings, desalination components, fittings, gears, marine propulsion, pump and valve components, wear rings.
