    C85700 is a copper-zinc-lead alloy that is commonly called leaded yellow brass. The lead is a boost to make it very machinable. The zinc is what gives the alloy a golden color. Containing 61% copper and 36% zinc, yellow brass is a popular and widely used alloy.
