Alloy Grade UNS: HL-AL – Corrosion Resistance to Hot Gases

  • Overview

    HL - AL alloy provides strength levels of HK with improved corrosion resistance to hot gases. The addition of chromium provides increased corrosion resistance. The alloy also contains nickel, silicon, manganese, and aluminum. The service limit is 1875 degrees Fahrenheit (1025 degrees Celsius).

  • Typical Uses

    Calcining tubes, pier caps with temperature fixtures and hardware.
