Alloy Grade UNS: HP-LC – Increased Ductility

  • Overview

HP-LC alloy is a low-carbon modification of HP modified with increased ductility. The service limit is 1925 degrees Fahrenheit (1050 degrees Celsius). Also known as MTEK 25-35LC, this alloy is normally used as a cast. The alloy features good oxidation resistance and high-temperature resistance.

  • Typical Uses

Petrochemical furnaces, especially suited to pyrolysis furnace sweep bends and reformer furnace outlet manifolds.
