Alloy Grade UNS: HT – Resistant to Thermal Shock

  • Overview

This alloy is also commonly referred to as cast-grade HT. This alloy, with nickel as the predominant alloying element, is highly resistant to thermal shock and carburizing conditions. Not subject to sigma formation, this alloy is widely used in applications involving rapid temperature fluctuations. Strength and corrosion resistance is excellent up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit (1090 degrees Celsius).

  • Typical Uses

Blades rolls, dampers, radiant tubes, retorts, rolling mill guides, and salt pots.

  • MetalTek Grade

    MTEK 35-15
