Cast Grade: Alloy 718

OVERVIEW: A nickel-chromium alloy with good corrosion resistance and high strength. It also has outstanding weldability and is resistant to postweld cracking. It has great creep-rupture strength at temperatures to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit (700 degrees Celsius).

TYPICAL USES: Turbine engine components, pump parts, and aerospace applications.
