Alloy Grade UNS: N-12MV – Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy

  • Overview

N30012 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy suited for handling hydrochloric acid in all concentrations and temperatures to the boiling point. Its excellent strength and ductility at both room and elevated temperatures make it a valuable high temperature alloy. It can be used up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit (760 degrees Celsius) under oxidizing conditions and substantially higher in reducing atmospheres. Also known as MTEK N-12MV, this alloy is machinable and weldable.

  • Typical Uses

Gas turbine engine components and chemical processing equipment.
