Overview
CG8M is a "300" series general corrosion-resistant alloy that also has exceptional toughness. The alloy offers good strength, wear, and galling resistance. The alloy has up to 21% chromium and up to 13% nickel that helps boost corrosion resistance.
Typical Uses
Bearings, chemical and food processing, furnace fixtures, heat exchangers, piping, pressure vessels, pulp & paper components, pump and valve components, nuclear flow control, sink rolls.
