Alloy Grade UNS: CG6MMN – Corrosion Resistance and High Strength

  • Overview

CG6MMN is a cobalt-based cast alloy that offers good corrosion resistance and high strength. Also known as NITRONIC 50 in its wrought form, it is an austenitic stainless steel. It has low magnetic properties even in cold settings. NITRONIC 50 also offers better corrosion resistance than 300 and 400 stainless steels.

  • Typical Uses

Deck equipment, downhole rigging equipment, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pump and valve components.

  • MetalTek Grade

    NITRONIC® 50
