Alloy Grade UNS: HK – Cast Grade HK

  • Overview

This alloy is commonly referred to as cast grade HK. It’s an austenitic heat resistant Fe-Cr-Ni alloy with high temperature strength, carburization resistance, and oxidation resistance suitable for less demanding reformer and pyrolysis applications as well as a variety of high temperature furnace applications up to temperatures around 2000°F (approximately 1100°C).

  • Typical Uses

Calcining tubes, cement kiln parts, pier caps with temperature fixtures and hardware, radiant tubes, and retorts.

  • MetalTek Grade

    MTEK 25-20
