Yes, MetalTek boasts extensive metal machining capabilities with over 200 machining centers. We offer options for finish-machined metal components to meet tight tolerances and specific design requirements. Our machining services include boring, drilling, honing, milling, oil grooving, polishing, shrink fitting, slitting, slotting, tapping, threading, and turning, accommodating parts up to 200 inches in diameter and up to 200,000 pounds in weight.
MetalTek provides comprehensive heat treatment services, including austenitizing, quenching (oil, water, and air), tempering, annealing, normalizing, solution annealing, stress relieving, and vacuum heat treatment. We have capabilities for large parts (up to 37 feet in length) and can reach temperatures up to 2,250°F (1,232°C) or higher. Our facilities are certified to standards such as Nadcap and AMS 2750, ensuring precise and reliable results.
Absolutely. MetalTek offers tight-tolerance metal fabrication services, including cutting, welding (manual, automated/DSP, orbital), and forming. We are certified for various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) and meet ASME Section IX standards. Our fabrication capabilities serve demanding markets such as petrochemical, steel mills, and others requiring critical performance and quality.
MetalTek offers a full suite of metal testing and analysis, including non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant testing, and radiographic testing, as well as mechanical and chemical analysis.
