Overview
R30031 is a high-performance alloy specifically engineered for demanding applications where galling resistance, high-temperature stability, and corrosion resistance are critical. This non-galling alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to wear and galling, a form of surface damage caused by adhesive friction between sliding components. Its composition, which includes up to 26.5% chromium, provides enhanced corrosion resistance in various environments. Furthermore, R30031 offers excellent resistance to heat and thermal shock, making it suitable for applications involving high temperatures and rapid temperature changes. This combination of properties makes R30031 a valuable choice for demanding environments where components must withstand wear, corrosion, and thermal stress.
